The National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministers (NFCYM)
This is the professional organization of Catholic Youth Ministers. While membership in the organization is limited to Diocesan Youth Leadership, the membership does publish excellent resources in the field of youth ministry, including the Competency-based standards for Coordinators of Youth Ministry, Challenge papers, and biennial conferences for parish youth ministry leaders.

The National Conference of Catholic Bishops
& the United States Catholic Conference
The NCCB and USCC are action arms of the Roman Catholic Bishops of the United States. These two groups provide the theological and philosophical focal points for many issues including social justice, family life, youth ministry, young adult ministry, economic justice, war & peace, racism, vocations, the role of the laity, and the ethics and value of human life.
