Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting is comprised of
Catholic Scouters who foster and nourish the spiritual
growth of scouts and adults. The work of the committee is
to:
- Promote Religious
Emblems
- Conduct an annual
Boy Scout Retreat
- Conduct an annual
Cub Scout Retreat
- Provide for a
Chaplain and Catholic Mass at the Council Summer Camp and
Events
- Foster and
develop partnerships between units and their chartering
parish
- Offer support and
services for Catholic parishes and their scout units
- Advocate for
Catholic issues with the Buffalo Trace Council through its
relationships committee
- Provide
formation and support for Catholic Scouters serving in
parish chartered units
