Catholic Parishes Campaign 2007
The 2007 Catholic Parishes Campaign (CPC) is now history. Once again, the Catholic people of southwestern Indiana have generously expressed their support for the multitude of programs and services provided by diocesan offices and agencies.
Here are the final results:
Campaign goal: $4,839,926
Total Pledged-to-date: $4,408,980 (new record)
Percent of goal: 91%
Percent of participation: 59%
Average gift: $233.00 (new record)
The 2007 CPC continued several traditions: 1) not reaching the diocesan goal; 2) extraordinarily high level of participation; 3) high average pledge amount; 4) very low campaign expenses (2% of amount raised).
In other words, thanks to positive pastoral support, hard work by hundreds of dedicated parish volunteers, and the good stewardship of treasure of our Catholic people, the CPC continues to be
one of the top producing annual diocesan appeals in the United States! Many thanks and congratulations to all!
