Called by Name
It
can be difficult to hear God’s voice speaking to us today.
Let’s help each other by pointing out how God might be calling our friends,
family members and fellow parishioners
to consider a call to the priesthood or religious life. Go online and submit
the name of an individual between the ages of 15 & 45 whom you think
would make a good priest or religious brother or sister. Check out the
website:
www.StationForVocations.org.
Follow the ‘Called by Name’ link to make your submission and to tell us why you
think that individual would make a good priest or religious.
This program is sponsored by the Diocese of Evansville Vocation Office.

CL Evansville (Communion and Liberation) is a
friendship that meets on a weekly basis for
community, charity and a desire to live the adventure of life and faith. In CL
we learn to perceive
the sense of the Mystery, upon which our life depends, and to live the Catholic
faith through a
companionship within everyday life. Community life is built through the "School
of Community",
a weekly meeting with study and discussion about a text. The text communicates
the experience
of Father Giussani's charism in a way that helps us take a serious look at our
lives and the life of the Church
and of the world. There are various Schools of Community that meet in the
Evansville area,
including one for high school students, called GS. For more information on how
to get connected,
please contact Phil Zenthoefer - 812-305-5486.
