Office for Adult Formation

Mission Statement

The Office for Adult Formation of the Catholic Diocese of Evansville provides personnel, programs, and material resources to strengthen the spiritual, academic, and professional/pastoral skills formation for current and potential catechetical and pastoral leaders.

Classes are offered in conjunction with Brescia University, Owensboro, Kentucky, in the lay ministry formation program. For a schedule of the classes being offered, click here.

The Diocese of Evansville also provides classes leading to an MA in Pastoral Studies or Religious Education through the LIMEX (Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension) from Loyola University, New Orleans. LIMEX is an adult model of learning based on credible principles of adult education and theological reflection.
