CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Catholic Education Foundation is a Blessing For Many Students

The Catholic Education Foundation is a non-profit organization which was established in 1968. It was formed to promote educational progress, achievement, and development of Catholic education in the Evansville area of the Catholic Diocese, particularly at Mater Dei and Reitz Memorial High Schools.

Philosophy

Members of the Board of Directors of the Foundation believe that every child in the Evansville area should have the opportunity to attend either Mater Dei or Reitz Memorial High School.

Mission

The mission of the Foundation is to provide funds, in the form of tuition grants-in-aid, to deserving students who could not otherwise afford the tuition to Catholic high school.

Record of Success

Since its inception, the Catholic Education Foundation has raised over two million dollars from individuals and businesses and awarded tuition grants-in-aid to over 4,750 students attending Mater Dei or Reitz Memorial High School.

Supporting the Catholic Education Foundation

The Foundation accomplishes its mission through funds received from a yearly campaign. Practically all of the planning and executing of the campaign, as well as the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, are performed by volunteers. As a result, operating expenses are kept to a minimum...so more funds can go toward helping students in need.
